In addition to providing jewelry to the American demographic, we work with Modern Mata Ortiz and other vendors to bring unique 2 and 3-day events to your museum, gallery or organization. Our shows offer educational experiences with Mexican artists for your patrons. Demonstrations by featured Mata Ortiz potters including hand building, painting and outdoor firings. Formal and informal lectures, children’s hands-on activities, and screenings of the award-winning video, “The Reincarnation of Mata Ortiz.” In addition, we work with a Zapotec weaver, Porfirio Gutierrez and Oaxacan wood carvers. We customize our events for your venue. Please contact me for further information.
